Jeremiah Carrier

EMT-B/EMSI

CEO/Founder

Lead Instructor

Jeremiah Carrier is an Emergency Medical Technician and is the Basic Life Support Lead Instructor for a New Haven based Emergency Medical Services organization. Prior to working in EMS, Jeremiah attended C.C.S.U. for Criminal Justice and worked several years as a Field Investigator of Insurance Fraud for a Florida based company. Jeremiah began his EMS career under the tutelage of Mike Torino in 2011. Following the completion of his EMT program, Jeremiah received his EMT-Basic certification and was hired by a local ambulance company to which he is still employed.

During his studies as an EMS candidate, Jeremiah was inspired by the instructors that guided him to success. After working as an EMS instructor volunteer, Jeremiah was hired as a part-time BLS level instructor under the supervision of Mike Torino and several others. Jeremiah brought a fresh perspective to EMS education and helped to implement new teaching strategies in the classroom. Jeremiah’s passion and enthusiasm in prehospital EMS led to his promotion to a full-time lead instructor position. Since then, Jeremiah has worked diligently to provide the highest possible level of EMS education available. In doing so, Jeremiah and Mike recognized the need for the same level of education for civilians. With an increased occurrence of mass-casualty events Jeremiah and Mike recognized the need to teach civilians more than just “first-aid”. Because mass-casualty events are very different from routine emergencies, Jeremiah and Mike created Two Point Five, LLC, to educate the public on the unique problems that require different strategies and are often characterized by disorder, confusion, and chaos. In addition to holding numerous instructor disciplines in pre-hospital EMS, Jeremiah a NAEMSI Level 1 instructor, BLS Healthcare Provider and a TCCC and PHTLS instructor. In addition, Jeremiah is furthering his EMS education as he pursues a certification in Paramedicine.
